Vice President of Growth

memmo is a platform that offers personal video messages from athletes, actors, musicians, YouTubers and other talents to their fans and followers. The videos are recorded, sent and received on the platform. memmo enables modern fan experiences, and make them more personal than ever before.

memmo is currently looking for a Vice President of Growth to join the growing memmo team. 

As the Vice President of Growth you will take on the overall responsibility for the Growth function and focus on developing a global growth strategy that will be localized and executed across all markets. The overall responsibilities includes: 

  • Breaking down the company's overall business plan and creating a growth strategy that will drive user acquisition, retention, loyalty and brand recognition across all markets 
  • Localizing the global growth strategy and specific initiatives to all markets in close collaboration with the markets’ general managers and growth leads
  • Establishing a solid process for user research, data collection, analysis and collection of insights to support decision making across the business unit
  • Setting relevant targets and leading all growth efforts 
  • Supporting your direct reports in their daily work and coaching them to overcome challenges, reach set goals and continue their professional development
  • Continuously updating the other members on the Group Management Team on plans, progress and problems to ascertain visibility and align company-wide focus
  • Managing the portfolio of marketing- and growth software required to execute the growth strategy

We believe that the right person for this role is fluent in English, passionate about user-centric marketing and ready to take on the full growth-responsibility for one of Europe's fastest growing startups. In addition to this, we believe the right person has:

  • A true team player, with a proven track-record from a similar role in a digital company.
  • Experience from strategic positions within marketing, CRM, growth or lifecycle-analytics in a company with a digital product
  • Experience of developing a data-driven growth strategy
  • Experience of leading a distributed international team with direct reports in several markets
  • A proven track-record of increasing customer acquisition and retention in multiple target markets
  • Experience of managing user-centric product development, price product portfolios and subscription business models is a merit
  • Innovative thinking and curiosity – question current paradigms
  • A hands-on get-stuff-done mentality
